Surprise package!

I received THE nicest surprise in the mail this week!

No coincidence, this lovely bundle arrived on Valentine's Day from Leslie at Dandelion Sprinkles. Leslie is a holiday girl! I love visiting her blog, because she has such a flair for decorating and celebrating the seasons.

It's been a while since I mentioned my dollhouse on this blog. I've been working on it very slowly, wallpapering and putting in floors. Seeing Leslie's dollhouse inspired me to get moving on mine again. She's so sweet, she sent me a few things to help me along:)  All wrapped up so cute! I love this fabric and I'm going to put it to use when it's time to work on the master bedroom in my dollhouse.

Excuse the poor lighting, and the work in progress. (I'm still installing baseboard.) Will you look at this hutch?! And that sweet bunting and beach sign! I could eat it with a spoon.

I'm starting the remodel of this thrift shop house with the kitchen, and besides the appliances and table, have just a few things. So, imagine my delight to find all the goodies included with the hutch.

Let's get a closer look at some of the baked goods. Look at that little bag of cookies that will be perfect, served on the tiered dessert dish.

That pot has been on the stove along with the cookbook for quite some time. The residents of my house will be so delighted to know that breakfast is finally ready!

But my absolute favorite thing is looking longingly at the meringue pie and pitcher of lemonade! I grew up with a beagle, so I promptly named my new miniature after her -- Molly Brown.

Thank you, Leslie! I can't wait to head down to my craft table and start playing again:)

I didn't know you were working on a dollhouse! This looks great already, and what a nice friend to send you such a sweet surprise in the mail. Have you ever seen the dollhouse that Claudia of Mockingbird Hill Cottage has done? It's amazing!
