Since my last post

Dear Blog,
In the words of Willie Nelson, You're Always On My Mind, as evidenced by all the photos I take, thinking that they'll be good blog fodder.  Here's a small glimpse of what's been going on for the past two weeks, since my last post.
The day after our grandson was born, we were hit with a blizzard that dumped two feet of snow in our town.  This is what it looked like at The Backyard Fence.

And then it was Easter Sunday, which proved to be a much sunnier day.  All the little girls looked so cute in their Easter dresses.

We've had fun comparing baby pictures. . . Sawyer on the left.  His daddy, Luke, on the right.

Bacon in the oven.  400 degrees for 13 minutes, then turn the oven off and leave it in for 3 more minutes.  Best bacon ever.  I'll never cook it any other way.

And the snow melted and the world is green and beautiful!

Big sister with baby brother.

And "big" sister had her First Birthday!!

And Grandma is still working on her birthday present. . . her very own "book" about all the people who love her:)

Happy Spring!

Sorry you had the Easter snow, glad we did not.

Still waiting for the weather to stay warm.

Enjoy your week.

Cuteness overload in this post!! Your grandbabies are so adorable! I don't think we got one snow dump that big this year. It's so dry around here! Since I discovered doing the bacon in the oven I just don't even think there is another way.

Amazing likeness of Sawyer and Luke!

Such happiness shown in this post and the previous one. The children are beautiful little gifts. Blessings and best wishes as your family continues to grow. :)

I remember hearing about a snowstorm, but WOW, at the pictures! All that snow. And your flowers are so beautiful now. As are all the grandbabies. Great pictures!

P.S. I've done bacon in the oven and I agree, I much prefer it that way. However, I can't decide whether to preheat the oven or not. When you said 400, did you let it preheat and then 13 minutes? I've tried a cold oven method before and I think it gets less grease spattered on the glass but it takes a lot longer to get crispy!
