Outside my window. . .

Here we go again.  Springtime in Colorado.  The snow started on Friday night and it is now noon on Sunday and still snowing.  It's that heavy, soggy wet stuff that weighs down tree limbs and is a bear to shovel.  Not that I would know anything about that.  Dan is out there now with the snow blower and shovel.

Yesterday, was nice and cozy.  I didn't leave the house all day, but stayed in and got caught up on laundry, photo albums and a blanket I'm crocheting.  Emily and Marcus came over with the babies and I made chicken Marsala, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies for supper.

I managed to finish Brooklynn's little photo book.  When I started the Little Book project a little over a year ago, I had one grandchild.  Now, there are four.  These kids are killin' me! Only half joking, of course.

I'm not a 'real scrapbooker' by any means.  These are little 8x8 photo albums that I buy, just the right size for little hands, and I fill them with pictures of the baby and family members.

Two albums down, two more to go for the boys! I will start collecting photos for their albums and save them in envelopes until it's time to put their albums together.

How about you, is it Springtime in your neck of the woods?

Wow, the snow!! There was lots of snow by the Alberta/USA border but it missed us. It is absolutely gorgeous and sunny here but I ain't gonna lie...we desperately need some moisture. We've already started watering because everything is so dry. Good for you for getting to those books. I start those kinds of things with the best of intentions and then majorly fizzle out before they are done.

So sorry about the snow. We finally got some
measurable rain today. Our temps have been in
the 60's and 70's with 80's this coming week-
end.

Good luck with the albums and the snow!

Bummer about the snow, it sure looks beautiful from here. You are so wonderful to make those albums, they will be treasured.
Hugs to you Karen,

Wow, hard to imagine all that snow with all our warm, windy and wet spring we've been having. The rain and wind are nearly gone, so summer is upon us. Nothing but 80's in our forecast for the next 15 days :(

Hoorah for completed projects! You rock, two already completed! Very cute albums and the perfect size for little hands, as you said. A treasure to be sure :)
