Friday Fave Five was made for weeks such as this one.
1. The highlight of my week has been having my friend Pamela here. I have a label over there on my sidebar devoted to her, she is that special to me, haha! From the English tea that we attended last Saturday, to sitting in our pajamas and sipping coffee in my living room, our time together is always special. I'm convinced that God has a way of sending her my way when I really need her. And I thank Him for that and for her.
2. I always have the best intentions when I start new projects, but to be honest there are more unfinished projects laying around my house and in my craft area than completed ones. One such thing was a little photo album I started for my granddaughter Siefer. It's an 8x8" album and I've been collecting pictures of everyone in the family and special pictures of her to include, so that she'll have her own personal book. Well, it was my goal to have it for her first birthday, and she is now 2. Last night, I had her on my lap and we sat at my desk. She was pointing at the pictures on my bulletin board and naming all the people she knew. So, I got out the mostly finished album and together we put stickers in it and finished it up! Project done! And I have this lovely memory of holding her while I did it, not to mention the scratch marks of red Sharpie on my desk as a result of her artwork!
3. After a week of gathering quotes and bids, I found someone to paint the house:)
4. Pizza. That's all.
5. These four precious miracles. Bentley, Brooklynn, Siefer and Sawyer. Always a favorite, on Fridays and everyday.
