I decided to look through my calendar to see just what has been filling my days. (Yes, I'm a kindergartner at heart and love to cut, paste, draw things on my calendar:/)
My calendar is a combination of appointments and events, as well as lists of things to do. My list method is to put a little square next to each item, so I can check things off as I go and feel very accomplished:)
Here's a sampling, in no particular order, of what has filled my calendar for the past 8 weeks.

On June 2, Dan and I celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary. It was on a Tuesday, so we both worked, and that evening he and Luke had a softball game. I went and watched, along with Marcus, Emily and Brooklynn. It seemed the perfect way to celebrate 31 years of marriage. Afterward, we all went our separate ways, and as Dan and I were walking to his pickup truck he took my hand and asked, 'can I buy you an ice cream?' We decided that 25 years of marriage is marked by silver, 30 years is rubies, and 31 must be softball and ice cream. I like that the best.
It's nice to be blogging again:)
