"Every day is a blank page."
FOR TODAY, March 4, 2015
[Note: So I started this on Monday and the "outside my window" part hasn't really changed much. Continuing on . . . ]
Outside my window . . . This was our patio over the weekend. Winter and Spring have been playing tag for the past two weeks. More snow tomorrow and 60s this coming weekend!
I am listening to . . . Classical piano music on Pandora.
I am thinking . . . about what book I'm going to read next. Probably my book club selection for this month, Little Chapel on the River by Gwendolyn Bounds.
I am thankful . . . for the family and friends that showered so much love on my daughter last weekend. Her baby is due in just a few weeks!
In the kitchen . . . lots of stick-to-your-ribs kinds of meals. Stuffed cabbage rolls, chicken pot pie and spaghetti sauce. Tastes so good on these cold winter days.
I am wearing . . . jeans, boots, V-neck sweater.
I am going . . . to keep enjoying these cozy winter days. Don't hate me because I love them. Spring will be here in time.
I am hoping. . . my son will get good news soon on the job front.
I am looking forward to . . . getting together with family for pizza night on Friday.
I am learning . . . that I'm totally useless if I don't have quiet time to relax and rejuvenate. I guess I'm not learning that, I've always known it. I'm learning not to push the limit!
Around the house . . . Dan finished building shelves in our storage area in the basement. I spent all day Saturday organizing, one of my favorite things to do!
A favorite quote for today . . . "Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage."
One of my favorite things . . . when my nieces call and ask for one of Grandma's recipes.
A few plans for the rest of the week . . . water aerobics, hair cut and highlights, going to see the Cartier exhibit at the Denver Art Museum.
A peek into my day . . . Emily and me:)
