Decisions

The hardest part of painting, for me, is choosing a color.  I enjoy the actual painting -- especially because DH does most of the prep work. He's so much better at it than I am;)  However, I can spend more time deliberating over the color, than it takes to get the project done.

Here are a few samples I've chosen for the front door.  Any comments or suggestions? (Pam, you can text me! I would welcome your feedback!)  I'm not afraid of color, so if you have any other ideas, throw them out there.

I hate choosing colors too. I don't really like the red or yellow with the brick. I think I like the green shades better.
Good luck!

I've lost touch with you and others, need to get back to blogging! Good to "see" you again! Colors are hard sometimes...I like one of the two green ones in the first picture, but that's probably because I had a blue door for so many years with a similar brick, maybe a little lighter.

I like the current white; red is good luck, but you have red brick surrounding your door. I can't choose colors, so I'm no help.

Decorating choices paralyze me. That said, with the brick I like the green shades best. Good luck, and welcome back to the blogosphere!

Choosing colors tends to paralyze me too. But I do like how the top blue looks with the brick. What about a rich purple? It seems some of the tone in the brick can lend to a purple.

I sort of love the yellow, just because its a cheery color!

I am terrible at picking out paint colors - that's why all the walls inside the house are white!

I thought the third bluish from the top until I saw the red, now I am going for the red.

I've seen people in my neighborhood do colors like that light blue (the second one). At first it seemed odd, then it began to grow on me and become striking.

If you are more traditional, something in the green family works.
