We got back from our trip to Mexico on Tuesday night and part of me is still there. I'm thinking about all the things I loved about it . . . here are just five. . .
1. The flowers and fauna. . . I took about a hundred pictures, the plants were gorgeous and so different than anything we have at home.
2. This was our first experience going to an all-inclusive resort. . . the service was excellent, the food was to die for and the beverages plentiful, cool and refreshing. Total relaxation. Five days of being waited on and not having to cook. . . yeah!
5. Most favorite thing. . . the ocean. I could (and did) spend hours on the beach, taking in the colors and the gentle breezes and the smell of the fresh air. There was a full moon while we were there, and the light reflected on the water. . . pretty, pretty, pretty.
I'm so grateful for the chance to spend some time in paradise with my husband and our good friends!

Beautiful, beautiful! Glad you had fun!
Funny, I just ran into an old friend who recently remarried and spent their honeymoon in Mexico. He said the same things...loved.it!
I love the shot of all the motorcycles lined up!
Thanks for visiting me on my first go-round with Friday Fave Five!
Wonderful! Love the beautiful pictures! The flower made me miss my old home in Florida. I had so many beautiful flowering bushes, fruit trees, etc. The one thing I miss the very most is my little baby pineapples that would grow near the water. Thank you so much for sharing the vibrant colors and beauty from your trip. Visiting from Simply God's Girl
oh what a beautiful vacation you had ! i'm living vicariously through you as I sit by my dining room window looking at a dusting of snow blowing across my backyard, birds at the frigid feeder and the temps soaring to maybe 22 today. LOL...NY is COLD right now!! I LOVE the pics you shared!!!!
What a lovely vacation! Sounds relaxing and refreshing all around.
Oh what fun! Glad you got away to the beaches and sunshine. Love the colors. I'd be leery of that visitor....oye!
Blessings on your weekend.
What a beautiful place to spend a week's vacation! I love the red hibiscus.
I do think that as you go to lower latitudes the slant of the sun is different and the colors truly are more vibrant. I noticed this when we lived near the equator, moved to 45 degrees north and then to 35 degrees north. My artist friend told me it's the slant of the rays.
Wow, so gorgeous. I wouldn't be able to stop taking pictures either.
Looks like the perfect place to enjoy a winter get-away! Love, love all the little shops to explore!
