Suitcase as desk storage

Since my desk is an old kitchen table with one very small drawer, I don't have a lot of room for storage of all the paper and pens and cards that I am addicted to like to keep on hand.  So here's my solution. . . a suitcase that belonged to my grandmother.

It sits on the floor next to my desk -- most of the time, with the lid open, so everything is within reach.
