Outside My Window... A beautiful, clear and sunny day.
I am thinking...About someone very close to me and missing her a great deal.
From the kitchen... broiled flank steak, wild rice, stir fried vegetables.
I am creating... something out of yarn, I just can't decide what.
I am going... to Mexico this Thursday!
I am reading...The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh.
I am hoping...to see a prayer answered -- and to accept it with grace.
I am thankful . . . for this great country. Watched the inauguration today, and I am optimistic. Because in the words of the great Winston Churchill, " . . . it does not seem to be much use to be anything else."
I am hearing... the sound of a power saw, Dan is working on a project in the garage.
Around the house...washing machine going, packing for our trip, Pandora radio is playing a Brad Paisley song.
Some of my favorite things...the color orange, coffee breaks with Dan, warm days in January,
A few plans for the rest of the week...pedicure, book club, fun in the sun.

I loved this... "to see a prayer answered -- and to accept it with grace." Wow. Sometimes we expect them to be answered the way believe they should be... and when they are not, it's all in our reactions. Great post and great insight.
Thank you for sharing your SWD! Simply God's Girl
