Book Review and there's a giveaway!

Today, I get to introduce you to a very cool book.  This is one of those little inspirational books that reads quickly and is uplifting to any mom who needs to laugh!  And don't we all?

I took The Crazy Daze of Motherhood, by Jane Isfeld Still, with me on Thursday to read when I had the oil changed in the car.  I thought it would help pass the time for the hour.  There I was in the car dealership lobby, chuckling and snorting in my Coke as I breezed through chapter after chapter.  I'm sure the young man next to me, using his laptop, thought he was sitting next to a crazy woman. (News flash: he was).

Jane had six children in eight years, and has lived to tell about it.  With her sense of humor and no nonsense common sense, she and her husband, Rick, raised their kids to be strong, healthy, contributing members of society. Isn't that what we all want? Jane has a great philosophy about parenting: "You're not doing your job unless your kids are worried about being seen in public with you."

This little book would be a great gift for any stage of motherhood. It would be a huge encouragement for young moms. And as a mom who has seen most of it, I have to tell you, I loved it!

To order, go here. (It is small and light enough that you could order a couple of copies and send them in lieu of cards for Mother's Day!) To read Jane's blog go here. (She's a hoot!) And if you become a follower of her blog and leave a comment that you're a new follower, you could win one of three great prizes:

1. Mother's Daze basket, soap, chocolate, lotion, decorative candles, and recipe cards

2. Box of blank cards with a smattering of Canadian chocolate

3. Chocolate

I've participated in a number of book giveaway/reviews, but this one really touches my heart. Thank you, Jane, for the copy of The Crazy Daze of Motherhood. It made my day!
