Bummed . . .

. . . I am.

My laptop went KaPut!  I am trying to decide how I am going to remedy the situation.  The worst part is that it has all of my photos on it, all my addresses (for Christmas cards!), and most of my memory:(  I can retrieve all of that, but haven't decided if I'll replace the laptop or transfer it all over to the kids' computer.  We're not in a position to run out and buy a new laptop, so I will most likely opt for the latter.

It feels weird, being without my laptop.  Like not having my own car or forgetting my pocketbook.  I've certainly come to rely on it more than I ever anticipated.

As soon as I get my act together can convince Joey to help me!, I'll be back to posting again.  And dressing this place up for Christmas!

OH KAREN I FEEL SO BAD FOR YOU. I REMEMBER WHEN I HAD A PROBLEM WITH MINE, I WAS SO UPSET. MAYBE SANTA WILL SURPRISE YOU AND BRING YOU ONE, I THINK YOU DESERVE ONE FOR YOURSELF. I WILL WISH UPON A STAR......
MAYBE THAT WILL WORK.
TAKE CARE, LOVE, AUNT RIZ

I was wondering if you'd thought of saving all your stuff to an external drive which would mean it could be kept separate from the kids stuff. I use one for everything and really find it works. Hope you get it sorted real soon Karen.
Blessings!

Oh that's frustrating. Although now would be a great time to find some good deals at the electronics stores, I totally know what you mean about just running out to get one.

I hate computer problems too. We all depend so much on them and when they break it is a bit hard to deal with! On another note, I wanted to tell you that I have truly been enjoying my CPAP machine. I use it faithfully EVERY night. When I went back with the machine to the dr's office she told me that I should be the poster child for using it! There was only one night that I had trouble. I know what happened that night, I had the pillow mask upside down! I never could wake up enough to get out of bed and fix it so I kept pulling it off throughout the night. Other than that night I have slept better than I have in years! What a relief it is. You were right when you said I look forward to going to bed since I know I will sleep so well. I am very thankful that it all worked out.

I hope you get your computer fixed/replaced asap. It is a bad time of year for this to happen! Wish I had a spare I could give you.

Good luck with solving this problem - what a frustrating time for this to happen! Along with Aunt Riz I will look for that star and make a wish for you to get a brand new laptop of your own! Thanks for stopping by my recent posts and leaving such nice comments! I will put your name into the hat to win that sweet little Christmas plate - wish I was giving away a laptop!! Ciao, bella!

Feeling your pain. I am always amazed/appalled at how my life seems to revolve around the health and well-being of my computer. At least you can retrieve everything or I might be able to hear you crying all the way down here in Texas. Hope your computer status is back to normal or even better---soon.
