Friday's Fave 5

It's been a while since I've joined in on Suzanne's Friday Fave Five.  Here are five things that happened this week that made me smile, blessed my day and just made me dang right thankful.

1. Hair grows back.  'Nuf said.

2. Lunch with my sister-in-law on Monday.  Afterward, we went to an Anthropologie store and had such fun just looking around.  Now, I know what all the buzz is about.  Their stuff is quirky and fun!

3. Cool, fall temps.  Abby and I took a walk around our favorite pond this morning.  I snapped some pictures and caught this guy enjoying the gorgeous September  morning. (Click on the photo to enlarge).

4. Fall cleaning.  Spent a good part of the day yesterday doing some deep cleaning.  The temperature barely hit 80, so I opened the windows and aired out the house.  I also came up with a schedule for myself, to stay on top of things.  I'll share in a later post, 'cause I know you're dyin' to see it.

5. The reading terrace at our public library.  I stole an hour and went there earlier in the week.  It has a beautiful view of the front range, with comfy chairs and tables to work at.  I need to go back (often) and enjoy it while the weather allows.

How was your week?  Link up at Living to Tell the Story, and share if you'd like.

I think I might have to incorporate those things into my schedule this week. I need to do some serious cleaning and I need to get to the library!

I love the cooler fall temps, too, and it does put one in the mood for doing some cleaning.

It seems like it would be neat to be able to do your walking around a pond! I love water ...

Reading on the terrace at the library sounds right up my alley!

Well #1 totally spoke to me. I can hardly wait after the last haircut I had. Not that it's bad but I just don't like it.

I love escaping to the library! I think I might have to do that soon.

Bad haircut? Thats always a hard experience, thankfully, as you said, hair grows back!

It does sound wonderful to read on the terrace of a library!

I love going to the library and settling in a comfy chair with a selection of magazines I would not get the chance to read, were it not for the library. I am not ready yet for the fall cleaning, putting away the summer things etc. We still have summer left here and I can wait for fall!! I do like the bit cooler temperatures of late summer.

I read your previous post, so I had to chuckle at "Hair grows back." Best attitude for a mom to have!

Wow, you made a maintenance schedule? I'm impressed!

That reading terrace sounds lovely. Have a great week!

Your right it will grow, but without a picture I am imagining the worst. Sometimes if you just wash and restyle it helps.

We are not in any mood for house cleaning until the temp starts cleaning down.

Your little frog shot is cute.
Have a good week

Ah, fall is such a wonderful time of year :) Wish we'd get a bit here, it was 95 today, boo-hoo.

Your library sounds so wonderful! I can't imagine a reading terrace with a view, sounds heavenly. I'm lucky to have a library with paper books and a few DVDs.
