Raining cats and dogs

It's bad enough that I have two wet dogs at my feet right now. I can't imagine how an entire sky full of them would smell. (Phew).

Too cute! Would you send some of that rain our way? We had a deluge a few weeks ago, and since then ... nothing! So things are pretty dry here this Spring.

I'm just day dreamingof a rainy day stuck inside with B... and absolutely nothing to do.... and movies... and cocoa...

I'm really tired of the rain-we are
supposed to get more. No smelly dogs here but we do have mud.
I gues I shouldn't complain the garden loves it!

Have a super weekend.

We're expecting storms tomorrow and Sunday. Lilly grew fast, didn't she?!

We have a lot of bad weather coming our way tonight in the Deep South. Thankfully I do not have outside pets but stepfather has a big chocolate lab and my Mom is always commenting on it messing up her clean house. :)

They are so cute. Who would think they were stinky? :) As I read this, I am smelling two wet dogs at my feet as well. We all got drenched during evening chores tonight. Oh, the stench! lol

We have one dog though he smells like at least two when it comes to rainy days! I just swaddle him in towels in the laundry room til he gets semi-dry, but muddy paws are a given considering the volume of rain we've had this week. I feel thwarted: I'm anxious to get going on some gardening here!

Oh, I know that smell very well! Nevertheless, they are still adorable.

HI KAREN,
TELL ME ABOUT IT......
THE BEST THING IS WHEN THEY COME IN AND THEY SHAKE AGAIN, JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT THEY WERE DONE. BUT.......
WE LOVE THEM.

Hi. I just found your blog and see that you are a "Mitford" fan. So am I. In fact, I'm planning to blog soon about my visit to "Mitford" and feature some of the recipes from the cookbook. I wish Jan would come out with a new book!

Best,
Bonnie
