Snow Day

Yesterday, they said to be prepared for a storm. A foot of snow, maybe more.

It hardly seemed likely. After all, Halloween is Saturday.

I guess they weren't kidding.

At least we won't have to worry about wasps for a while.
Bike riding would be difficult in 14" of snow.
Deck building is on hold. At least until Saturday, when it will warm up again. That's Colorado for you.
The kids stayed home from school. We all found things to do.

I'm not sure where you are in Colorado, but I know exactly what you mean! This weather is crazy, it flip flops between beautiful sunny, to snowy and cold!

Your photos are gorgeous, I especially love the last one, curled up in front of the fire!

Snow! It just seems too soon, but isn't it nice to stay inside where it's warm and cozy. Love you photos!

Sigh, wasn't it just spring? It's pretty, though, that's for sure.

I'm so jealous of the fire burning in the background! The snow is beautiful, but just a little too early for me! LOL!

Looks like you got out snow from last week or so. No school closures here though. That would take a mega blizzard. Sure makes for some really nice photos though.

Gorgeous pictures, but oh my goodness at the snow! You know, I don't think I've ever seen snow like this in person, ever, in my whole life! :)
