The Jersey Shore

The past two days have been great. Lots of sun and lots of beach time. Here is a picture of the house we're staying in -- the blue one. It has a deck on the top where we watched fireworks on Saturday. A small area of sand dunes is the only thing that separates it from the beach.

The Jersey shore looks exactly the way I had pictured it to look ... complete with the little white picket fence. I am so glad to hear that you are all having a great time.

If you could see me now - I've turned the most gorgeous shade of GREEN! Where on the island are you? And why can't I be there with you???

I'm still catching up and just read this post first - OH MY! I think I got a whiff of salt air and sunshine when I saw your first picture. HOW BEAUTIFUL! I'd take sand in my sheets every night to have a view like that!

Enjoy!

Okay, I went back and read about your entire road trip. Awesome descriptions and memories! Glad you enjoyed the midwest stretch - wish you could gravitate a bit more north to South Dakota!

I love St. Louis - I was born there but haven't been there in years. My sister in law were there the same time you were, and had a marvelous time - they saw the Twins play against the Cards I think.

Enjoy your time and relax!
