Fridays Fave 5

It's been a couple weeks since I've done Friday's Fave 5. To read other bloggers' lists or to do your own, visit Susanne at Living to Tell the Story. Here are some of my favorite things about the past week. . . 1. It snowed this week.Christmas lights look especially beautiful shining through a soft blanket of white snow. 2. Yankee Candle's Christmas Wreath scented candles. Combined with a couple of new Christmas CDs -- it's beginning to smell and sound a lot like Christmas around here. 3. Having pancakes for supper on Wednesday night. It was just me and the two kids this week, so we had easy suppers. 4. Dan is home now and no more trips 'til after the first of the year. We went to a local Christmas concert tonight, just the two of us, by the Rocky Mountain Brass. The music was wonderful and the sing-along part was great fun. 5. Putting up Christmas decorations. I still have the trees to do, but I had fun making a wreath for the front door and decorating the front porch. Pictures to come!

You are the second person to mention the Christmas Wreath Candles from Yankee Candles. I'm going to look for them today, hopefully I can get a good deal at a store that's closing out and that I know carries those candles.

I'm decorating today too. I love the house all gussied up for Christmas.

The concert sounds like so much fun! I also love to have breakfast for dinner...we don't do it nearly enough...

I liked your snow picture, looks like it was the nice fluffy flakes. I enjoyed the mental images of your battle with the driveway. Always nice when those type of things are not observed. The snow we have had is blown all around, not too much of it. I am working at some decorating, but the outside stuff is a challange as the wind will often shred my artistic efforts.

Colorado just seems so perfect for Christmas! We don't get snow - but we do get wind and cold weather.
Hopefully this week I will get around to the Christmas decorating. I'm just slow this year.
I love having breakfast for supper - it's a fun thing to do sometimes.
