Sunrise over the back yard fence

This was my view over the back yard fence this morning. When I raised the window blinds in the kitchen, the room was flooded with a pink glow and I saw this out in my back yard.
This week is turning out to be so crazy busy -- getting myself back to work, getting Joe ready to leave on Saturday and Dan out of town for a few days. I think I've booked every single minute. Thanks to all of you for your nice comments on my last post. I will continue to unload my random thoughts here, in whatever order they may fall. I never dreamed when I started my blog that I would find so many kindred spirits. God works his magic in sunsets and in the hearts of so many of you! I'm glad our paths have crossed.

Ah Karen, what a wonderful welcome to the day. I love sunrises and sunsets, the color combinations seem endless. As to kindered spirits I think that is what is wonderful about our blogs. When we live only in our own heads it seems like we are the only ones thinking and feeling a certain way. By having others to bounce thoughts off gives us the opportunity to see that we are not as crazy as we feared!! Have a wonderful, non focused day. Barbara

If the picture is that beautiful, I can only imagine what it really looked like. I love watching the sun come up, and I'm glad I'm an early riser. Isn't it wonderful how the sunrise changes from moment to moment?

What a gorgeous picture -- thanks for sharing it! What would a day be without Karen in it?

It's mighty pretty over your back yard fence, Karen. What a beautiful photograph.

It's a good thing I don't have a teenager around here telling me my blog needs focus. If I couldn't ramble on about every little thing, I wouldn't have a blog at all.

I'm not real focused myself so you can bet my blog isn't. I like yours exactly the way it is.

Hi Karen,
Yep Tonka's eyes are pretty much that green, I think the flash might have made them a tad brighter. Thank You for coming to visit. Barbara
