Code Red

That was the front page headline for the Rocky Mountain News this morning. I won't bore you all with the sordid details. But the 8th inning rally was not enough to pull the Rockies out of the hole that was dug earlier in the game. Last night's loss was a bitter pill to swallow.
However, seeing a World Series game played at Coors Field was still pretty exciting!
Opening ceremonies. Carrie Underwood sings the National Anthem No matter how it turns out, at least we got to go to the dance!
And who knows? Maybe the Rocks will be the first team in MLB history to lose the first three games and still win the series. Ya never know. . .

Bummer, 0 and 3 doesn't look good but yes, it is fun to go to the game! Your pics are great! And Carrie Underwood, how fun was that to see.

How exciting that you got to go, Karen. Rob and I are holding our breath tonight. I keep telling myself it's possible - they could win the next four. Sigh. It's enough to give a fan an ulcer.

It's not looking too good right now. But it's not over till the fat lady sings, and I haven't started singing yet!

I loved going to the WS games here in Atlanta. We got to sit with the players' wives one year.

My condolences this morning. I never follow baseball, but for you, I did ,so I listened to the news this morning. I am thinking you had a good time anyway :)

Oh, I know, we are so sorry for y'all. We were rootin' for your Rockies. They just seemed to have lost their wind. I think that 8 day rest was not the best thing.

You'll get 'em next year.

Wow. So glad you got to see a World Series Game!

I do feel your pain. Big Tiger fan here. Last year was not their year, but not because I wasn't cheering for them!
